I love my car.
I treat it like it’s my baby, to tell you the truth.
I wash it every week, wax it every two weeks, and I always keep it in the garage to keep the sun and rain off of it. So when it started making weird noises whenever I turned on the air conditioning, it freaked me out. I was pretty upset when the A/C seemed to be having problems, especially since the weather was just heating up. I was pretty worried about having to deal with the summertime temperatures with no air conditioning, too. And so when the weird noises started up again one morning this week, I called the garage to see if anyone there knew how to work on car air conditioning. The guy who answered the phone said that it just so happened that he was really good at working on air conditioning in cars. Plus he said that he was also good at working on HVAC systems in houses, too. He told me that he used to work as an HVAC technician and he had just retired from that job a few months ago. He said that he was planning on doing the garage job as his retirement plan but once he started working there, he ended up working on car thermostats, car heaters, and car air conditioning systems. He laughed a little bit and said that he had been trying to get away from working on air conditioning systems and heaters and air vents and stuff like that. But then he ended up getting pushed into basically the same position at the garage! The only difference was that he was working on heating and cooling in cars instead of in homes.
