When everyone thinks about FL, they mostly think about the theme parks and the beaches! I’ve lived in FL most of my life, and I can legitimately say that there are a great deal of fun activities in FL.
You honestly do not have to spend a ton of money on expensive tourist attractions such as theme parks and roller coasters.
My family and I completely enjoy some of FL’s natural beauty. My preferred things about the Sunshine State, are entirely all of the amazing springs. Florida just so happens to be home to more fresh water springs than any other locale in the world! There are so many types of springs that happen to be in FL. These springs include ink holes, karst windows, and spring boils. These spectacular freshwater treasures are located all over the region. My family and I live close to Tampa, FL, and we always love visiting Weeki Wachee Springs, Rainbow Springs, and Three Sisters Springs. These FL treasures offer the chance to see all kinds of beautiful wildlife like red-eared sliders, American alligators, and river otters. The sunshine state has plenty of family-friendly activities that cost less than $10 a day. Many of the natural springs are entirely featured in the state park system. These natural wonders can be enjoyed for only $5 a car load. If you are going to spend some time in FL for your getaway, save a ton of money and skip the multiple-hour ride lines at Disney. Be sure to pack a cooler, put on a swimsuit, and take the adolescents out to snorkel in some of the most amazing waters in the world. You might be stunned to see an alligator gar, and you just might actually find some Civil War era artifacts.
