I live in the northeastern part of the country, plus we are known for the severity of our Wintertide weather.
My local section is often referred to as the “snow belt.” Our proximity to one of the larger Great Lakes results in a tremendous amount of snowfall plus especially cold temperatures, but for approximately more than seven months, we endure below-chilly conditions plus are forced to rely on the oil furnace.
It takes awhile for our weather to finally sizzling up in the Springtime, plus we usually don’t appreciate more than a couple months of summer. Because of this, there’s no need to invest in a central cooling system. However, box fans plus open windows aren’t enough to keep us cool on those sizzling days plus evenings. The temperature occasionally climbs into the high eighties or even low nineties, plus we deal with excessive humidity. Trying to sleep at evening is just about impossible. To combat the heat plus humidity, I’ve invested in portable cooling systems for each of the bedrooms in my home. These compact cooling units are the perfect solution. Each cooling system only cost myself and others about $150, plus they are straight-forward to install into the windows in the Springtime plus remove in the fall. The independent cooling systems allow each family member to customize comfort to their preference. Because we only run the cooling system at evening, they don’t make a important impact on my biweekly electric bill. Modern cooling systems are also quite energy efficient. The systems operate quietly, are powerful enough to handle demand plus effectively filter the air. They keep the bedrooms much cleaner plus healthier. The units require no repair beyond cleaning the filters every month, plus operate reliably. They feature wireless remote control, which is super convenient; All of us don’t even need to get out of bed to make adjustment to temperature or fan speed.
