I have been a lecturer in the public college plan for over twenty years. I have seen the good & the awful of progression in our educational system lately. But, I still really do just walk away with a lot of hope for our future for sure. When high college was about leading students into college, that just isn’t the case anymore it seems to be, but more students are certainly discovering that their dreams come in all sorts of shapes & sizes here from travelling to taking hands on internships too. They want to get out & experience the whole world here. Our college is now a very true mix of recruiting for colleges & internships. I live in a nice town & I have seen a steady rise in Heating & Air Conditioning internships over the last 5 years I would say. The local heating & cooling companies have more work than they can handle with weather conditions change at the forefront for sure. By taking high college students under their very own wing, they can teach them basic Heating & Air Conditioning repair skills along with falling out & cleaning air filters to air duct. This frees up so much of the Heating & Air Conditioning professional’s time for larger heating & cooling upgrades & emergency calls that come in daily. While the students walk away with hands on comprehension of those things, they are then very prepared to task full-time after graduation with a real adult salary in the Heating & Air Conditioning field. Their parents are blissful at the skill they acquiring & in addition to the job security. They are also satisfied with their new heating & a/cs & family discounts that they get!
